Kindy is FREE
for everyone!


From 1 January 2024, Kindy will be free for all eligible

Kindy-age children. 
This means that you will pay no fees for the entire year of Kindy. 
 

Wonderful news for our Kindy families and children!

We know a quality kindergarten program offers lifelong benefits. Free access to kindergarten means every child has equal access and opportunity for a strong start in the early years of learning.

 

This significant funding injection means we are setting children up for a strong future. Children of families on Refugee and Humanitarian visas can also access free Kindy in 2024. Children of families with a temporary resident visa which is exempt from State School fees as listed on the Department's International schedule of visa subclasses and enrolment conditions will also be eligible for free kindergarten.
